This is our tip for anyone looking for the breathtaking beauty of Es Trenc "in peace".

If it gets too crowded on the island's most popular sandy beach, it's worth taking the 2 kilometre walk and diving into the azure waters of Es Carbó beach. Just like its neighbour Es Trenc, the beach pampers the eyes and feet with the finest white sand, just like in paradise.

Traces of civilisation have been left far behind here, with only pine forests, bushes and sand dunes forming a contrast to the shallow water. You will look in vain for services such as showers, toilets or parasols, with only a lifeguard peering out from his tower.

The footpath to paradise leads past the marina and then along beautiful little stretches of beach. The highlight of Es Carbó is the offshore island, which also attracts visitors with a sandy beach.
