The island's very first golf course is steeped in tradition and is renowned amongst players from all over Europe.

The "Open de Baleares", part of the European Tour, was hosted here twice – in 1990 and 1994, and some of the golfing greats have played here, including Severiano Ballesteros and Barry Lane.

Designers Kurt Rossknecht and F.W. Hawtree created an almost mythical golf course with fairways that stretch out amongst the impressive villas of Son Vida.

It's a breathtaking course with everything a golfer could ever wish for: demanding holes, beautiful landscape and very well-maintained grounds. It requires golfers to play an intelligent and strategic game, because the first 11 fairways are fairly closed in, but after that, they're out in open terrain.

Here you'll find some excellent par-3 holes with elevated teeing grounds. All straits and greens are very fair, even if a couple of tee-offs seem very tight. This course is guaranteed to be great fun for golfers of all abilities.
