Suitable: For sporty beachgoers who don't mind the hike to get there
Location: Between the Ses Salines lighthouse and Cala s'Almunia
Those who are not afraid to take on the 5 km walk to the "marble bay" will be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view of the Cabrera archipelago. But the real jewel is hidden beneath the 20 metre high marble cliffs: a pretty bay with fine white sand and crystal clear water.
The sandy ground with gravel, the light-coloured cliffs and the azure blue water form a backdrop that is unique on Mallorca. The water in the bay is between 3 and 5 metres deep and ideal for snorkelling.
You can get there either from the Ses Salines lighthouse or from Cala s'Almúnia, the neighbouring beach. On very hot days, the hike on uneven ground is not recommended.
