Suitable for: Everyone | Location: Amid Mondragó Nature Park
There are stretches of coastline on Mallorca that are far too good to spend the whole day in just one place. Because every corner hides another beautyful beach; as it´s the case in the Mondragó Nature Park, which includes secluded sandy beaches such as the bay of the same name, rocky caves, dunes and shady pine trees.
Even it´s in the middle of nature park, the sandy beach of Cala Mondragó offers amenities such as toilets, showers, restaurants, parasols and sunbeds.
However, so much unspoilt beauty also arouses desire - in high season, the small bay can quickly become crowded. Then it's worth moving on after cooling off and exploring the neighbouring bays of s'Amarador and Caló de's Burgit, the smallest of the three bays. The three beaches are within walking distance of each other and are connected by a coastal path.
How about a hike after snorkelling in the crystal-clear water? Numerous routes between 1 and 10 kilometres long run through the Mondragó Nature Park and lead to shady spots away from the hustle and bustle of the beach. You might even come across tortoises or cranes that call the nature park their home.
And this is how you get there: By car, park at s'Amarador beach (free of charge) and walk to Cala Mondragó. In the high season, a tourist train also runs from Cala d'Or to the beaches.Cala Mondragó.
