Cyclosportive Mallorca 312

What is Mallorca’s most important cycling event about? The clue is in the name – the goal of riders taking part in the “Cyclosportive Mallorca 312” is to complete the 312-kilometer course. Cyclists attempting this long-distance route have 14 hours to overcome 5,050 meters of climbing that include stretches through the Tramuntana mountains. They must conquer a total of nine peaks including the Puig Major, at 1,445 m the Balearic Islands’ highest mountain. And the shorter distances of 167 km or 225 km are not exactly a walk in the park either – riders have 9 respectively 10 hours to get around the courses. All three challenges start and finish in Playa de Muro.

This professionally organized cycling event is an absolute highlight for hardcore riders, usually selling out within 24 hours. With a lot of luck you may, however, still be able to register via a sports tour operator.
