At least until 2015, the Hollywood star spent his vacation here, than the property had been offered for sale and now is only rarely used by Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Anyway, the hike to the tiny settlement S'Estaca, shortly after the celebries´ estate, is definitely photogenic.

Even the journey is breathtaking. The super-narrow serpentine road to Port de Valldemossa is not suitable for scaredy-eyed, the view spectacular and your driving skills are demanded. After approximately 4 kilometers and gallons of sweating you reach the entrance to S'Estaca on the right. Park well and have your camera ready. Catherine might be out for jogging ... .

The wide trail leads high above the sea to the estate of the actors which won´t be missed with its white spikes and castle-like architecture. The house was once be owned by the Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria, in 1989 Michael Douglas fell in love with the property and just purchased it. He and his family spent loads of summer vacations in Valldemossa, strolling around the tiny streets and had dinner in any of the local restaurants.

After passing the estate the way leads downhill to the 20-houses-place S´Estaca which was originally inhabited by fishermen and sailors. The settlement is magical, snug and with direct access to the crystal clear sea. Unpack your bikini and dive into the water.

After being refreshed and with some amazing photo shots you return the same way. But not without a detour to Port de Valldemossa. The magical bay with a handful of more houses than S'Estaca offers a restaurant and the most beautiful sunset of the island.
