The Son Quint Course is the Arabella Group's newest course on Majorca, and the newest on the entire island. It's a course that anyone with a handicap is allowed to play – so expect to see players with a wide range of abilities.

Son Quint is a hilly, varied course, set amongst olive trees, carob trees and pine trees. Many of its holes boast wonderful views of Palma, the bay and the ocean. Its mostly fairly narrow straits are nestled beautifully amongst the surrounding landscape of stunning hills.

Designers Kurt Rossknecht and Ramon Espinosa have done a fine job. The course comes equipped with generously spaced greens, undulating hills and multiple flag positions. All levels of ability are catered for, thanks to the variety of tee-off options. It's a very fair course, and, particularly in the front nine, fails – or at least lost balls – are incredibly rare.

The back nine includes a bit of water, but is generally very golfer-friendly. Hole 12 is particularly interesting: par 3 and roughly 180 metres over water.

In 2017, the course received a significant upgrade thanks to two brand new fairways and one new green.
